I wish I were Martha, with a Martha-sized budget. Alas, I am not.

Martha Stewart may be the queen of entertaining, but she also has a budget of, oh, I don’t know … like a gazillion dollars for each event.

I Googled the average price for a wedding in the U.S. in 2021: $31,000.

Just … no.

I love my daughters as much as the next mom, but there’s no way in hell I’d spend that much on a wedding.

Fortunately, there are a lot of small ways to cut costs without cutting corners — and you don’t have to be Martha Stewart to pull them off.

I get that not everyone was blessed with the crafty gene, but you might surprise yourself with what you can create with a little guidance, a few tips and a willingness to simply dive in and give it a shot.

That’s what this blog will cover: Building a Bash without breaking the bank.

I hope you check back often, because I’ll be sharing ideas for how you can DIY a lot of your event to save money.

I’ll show you things like:

  • How to make a boutonniere

  • How to make bridesmaid bouquets

  • How to build the perfect mimosa bar

  • How to construct a beautiful centerpiece

  • Simple DIY party favors

  • Inexpensive lighting tricks that add ambiance

… and much more.

In the end, it’s really just about creating an environment where your guests can enjoy celebrating with you. As long as you remember to take care of them — which you can accomplish in any of a number of small, inexpensive ways — they’ll have a blast.

Swing back by and let me help you Build A Bash that’s elegant, beautiful and memorable.
